I really hate uploading my pics here!! The hello simply dont work for me. Sigh. looks like i am a real computer idiot. =( Anyway, here's my nyc photos! As i was on the 048 pattern, i landed in nyc in the evening on the first nite. Thus, i only have one day to shop and sightsee.

Woke up early in the morning, prepared and off to staten island! Just to complete my staten island fantasy(for those who watched sex and the city, u shuld know what i am talking abt) As my seniors were not very interested to go out, i went out myself. (yes all alone.) i thought it will be scarey and boring but in fact, i was glad i managed to spend quality time by myself. Kind of find my inner peace. haha. Zen?! =X

Anyway, here's me in my hotel before heading out. i wore 3 layers totally just to get out of the hotel. It was freaking cold.. at a low temperature of 5 degrees! i wore 3 layers of top(including my sweater) and stockings+ jeans+ boots. Thats the amt i wore and i was still shivering cold. So if u are heading to New york, beware of the temperature!

And then off i go to grand central terminal! off to subway! i didnt have a single clue on what to take to staten island. Gosh.. so i just walked around like a blind man asking for directions.. and finally take subway to bowling green(is that the correct name?whatever) hee.. as i took the subway during the rush hour, hell, it was freaking crowded. I actually squeezed the subway with the new yorkers working crowd. But thankfully nothing happened. As i was on the subway, my heart pounded hard with fear. Remember the subway terrorist threat not long ago? yea. i was scared but i desperately want to go sightsee. =X



After half hour, i finally reached staten island terminal!!!

So i hopped onto the free cruise hoping to catch a glimpse of the famous statue of liberty.



oh did u see that?! yea!!!! coming coming!! and den i got an ang mo tourist to take a photo for me.. hehe

ops too dark..

As the cruise neared the statue, my fingers began to freeze up too. I could hardly move them~! it really felt frozen. sob.

eh why is everyone so anxious at that direction?? what's happening??



tata!! here it comes!!! liberty!!!!!!
but i didnt go close enough lah. should have went to the paying cruise so that i can really get near the liberty. Next trip lah... when my class gals wana go with me. must go with me ah~!!!

and finally on staten island.
so i spent the rest of the day back in the shopping areas shopping and burst my pocket. The winter clothes were all so tempting! how i wish i can wear them in sg!!! anyway, it was great travelling to staten island. But nothing much to see there, so unless u are soooo bored and u wana save some money, dont go to staten island. pay and go straight to see statue of liberty lah! So just fulfilled my staten island fantasy though there were no cute staten island fireman(sex n the city again) hahahaa..

wednesday nite, clubbing again? aiyo. abit bored. tired also. sigh.. see how ba!
