I slurged on the mac today. I felt kinda guilty after that. I could have resisted the temptation and buy it at the airport.. but i cant! hee. I bought their primer, beauty powder and concealer. Its a highly raved product so i really want to give it a try to see if its really so much better than my chanel. I am most excited about the beauty powder. It works like a compact powder, supposed to give a glow i guess. I didnt see a difference after the SA tried on me but i love the colour so much that i really cant resist it! I cant wait to get that sweet pink blusher too! But that's when my pocket is fuller. hee

i finally watched "Hostel"! OMG. Its.....not recommended for weak hearts. =D P.S: For those who dont wana kill the suspense, dont read the below entry. hehe.

Sean had no appetite for dinner. Even myself, ms gross elaine felt weak in the knees after watching it. Serious!! After the show, i had to try very hard to stand up, balance myself and walk out of the cinema, with my stomach still churning.

I dislike horror shows but surprisingly i seem to enjoy this kind of show. I hate those surprise scenes in horror shows. Scare me out of my wits! But Hostel is full of suspense and damn gross. The story begins with this 3 Americans on their backpack tour in Europe(makes me think twice abt going backpacking. hm). They met this pimp along the way and he recommended them to this Hostel where the girls are really wild. They made their way to the hostel. It was like a paradise! The girls were pretty and sexy and of course....easy. Surprisingly easy. After they beded them, strange things started to happen. The first guy disappeared with the japanese girl. They tried searching for him, left msges blabla but all they got was a picture message saying, "sayonara". Fast forward, the 2nd guy disappared and was tortured. Damn. The scene was horrifying. The sound effect was damn good. The director kept the suspense very well. We couldnt see what happened. Only heard drilling sound, yes drill! and sawing sound.. then the butcher opened the door and tell the guy,"leave!" The poor guy tried to stand up and, "Piak!" The ankle tore. Apparently the butcher saw the bone at his ankle and it snapped when he tried to stand up. OMG friggin disgusting! You should hear his screams.

The story was quite fast pacing and i felt the director tried abit too hard to keep the movie going. The 3rd guy managed to escape without his knowledge but he walked back to it. Most of the things revolved around him. Of course there were more torturings...He was lucky to survive the ordeal with only 4 fingers snapped off. The company is call Elite Hunting. Backpackers are tricked into this hostel to be tortured by rich people. They paid the Elite hunting grps to have a chance to torture and gradually kill all these innocent people alive. They have a whole set of tools. Guns, chain saw, scissors, fire, whatever, u name it they have it.

If someone can think of making a movie like this, someone must be able to think of doing it real life? Its really scarey thinking about it. Can you imagine yourself knowing that u will be tortured and gradually killed? There's nothing u can do. You're like a pig waiting to be slaughtered. You're worse than a pig!

There was this scene whereby the guy piled the almost dead people up in trolleys and then chopping them up in pieces before dumping them into the fire place to incinerate. The scene reminded me of wet market scene. I could almost smell the blood. For that moment, i felt like converting to a vegetarian.

If i think i can survive the butchery scenes, i want to watch this show again. Its not a show without content. It was filled with suspense and made me think about the show again and again. Why? Why do human have to attack each other like this? Cant we live harmony and mind our own business? Why do you have to inflict pain on someone who's innocent and helpless? Just because that person is weaker does not mean you're stronger. It doesnt show that you have the right to inflict any pain in any forms. By ruining someone's life doesnt mean that your life will be better. Someday urs will be ruin too.
