Chloe and i did the impossible today! We completed a 13km bike trail from Fisherman Wharf to Sausalito!!! All on bike, many times on foot(when i couldnt go up and down the steep hills lol). I wanted to give up so many times.. but there's no way i am going to ride all the way back. Manz.. It was crazy! The only way is to keep on going.. until we reach Sausalito where we can take the ferry back comfortably. WAHAHA.

We woke up really early and went for breakfast. Today's a really chilly day. There's no sun at all. My abercrombie jacket really doesnt help much so we bought San francisco jackets. It was very worth the money!

I thought the journey's going to be an easy one. Anyway there'll be bike trail everywhere. But i was wrong. The hills were steep and for someone who haven ride for years, it was a real challenge. Besides being rusty, we were not properly dressed up. Just look at our shoes:

LOL. Chloe was in heels while i was in slippers! Manz..

Intially it was all civilisation. Normal houses, pavement, cars around us.



After cycling for a long time(for me), we finally spotted the Golden Gate Bridge! OMG!




We all looked so excited, thought we were very near.. but we didnt know what's up ahead. We still have LOOOOOONNNNNNNG way to go!

Finally we got Fort point and we took a rest.



Many bikers around.. see everyone looks so professional!




But we were NOT near! We had to ride up this crazy slope. It felt like mountain to me. Being a lousy rider, i admit that i didnt ride up. I pushed myself and my bike up. Yes i did. -_-". LOL. I really cant! I tried so hard! i wanted to give up! My body was giving way, so was my bike! After we reached the top, the entrance to the Golden gate bridge is still nowhere from sight. We only spotted this gift shop where i bought a photo frame.




Near.. very near.

I took a few wrong turns and finally found our way to Golden gate bridge!! But its also when i felt cheated. I realised that besides biking to Golden gate, there's also bus available! Damn the hotel conceige! He told us there's no other way! Freaking hell! THANKS.


I was perspiring so much.. see how hard i worked?! It was still so chilly cold!!! burr..

After getting off the bridge, we knew the tough part was coming. The guy at the bike shop told us. From the bridge to sausalito, we have to travel down slop along with the cars.. omg. Freaking hell! just look at this:


There were many points where i was all alone because chloe took the lead and went down the hill first. Being the timid me, i really cant bring myself to do it!! i was so scared. But i managed to ride down 1/2 the times..There was once a huge bus was stuck behind me because i was travelling at snail speed down the slope. I didnt even know notice there's a huge bus behind me at all! LOL! i was chanting to myself "you can do it you can do it..."

Our efforts paid of.... we finally found sausalito! Just look at this!




Its so breathtaking. The scenary looks like its directly from postcard. I want to stay in one of these coast line houses. OMG. its just so beautiful!!

We decided to reward ourselves to this restaurant call scomba. It sits by the seaside. A very cozy italian restaurant which serves good food! I order wide pasta served with lobster sauce, beef chunks and mushrooms. See our yummy my pasta is:

while chloe ordered white wine sauce with clams. *yummy!*

And here's me, finaly at sausalito, sipping my red wine in a fine afternoon, by some seaside restaurant..........


this place is beautiful!
