Around 365 days ago, i was stuck here with a bunch of girls who were in the same state as me. It wasnt very long, just 1 1/2 months but it was enough to made all of us change, grow up(in a sense, yes..and not to mention grow horizontal as well), bond together, look prettier(lol) and finally graduated with our trainee badges..ready to take flight.
Now, 365 days(and more) later, a few of us are back here in the training centre in Tokyo. It felt like it was just yesterday when we had training there. The moment i walked into the training centre, flashbacks of memory(the happy times, the sleepy and boring lessons, the stressful tests, the not-so-happy disputes times, tearful times(at the end of the training), lonely times..). Even the
SMELL of the training centre smells so familiar. LOL. No kidding.
i am back here for a 2 days brush up training course. We are here mainly to revise on our work, learn and improve some of the things that we're always not clear of. I kinda miss training days. We were all so erm, ignorant at that time. One year really changed me quite alot. All of us worked so hard during training(i guess you have to go through it to understand it)..all for the day we can graduate, put on our uniforms and fly in one of those iron birds that we see taking off and landing everyday outside our training centre.(our training centre has a beautiful clear view of iron birds landing and taking off!) I still remember that i used to go Changi very often to look at iron birds. It never fail to get me excited and teary(i can get quite emotional) about those who're coming and those who're leaving.
The passion for flying has kinda change after these 365 days. Not that its all bad, but i am more aware of the pros and the cons of it. Sometimes i get so irritated and so pissed with the people around that it makes me question myself why i am here! But at other times, i love my job so much that i think i want everything to stop right there so that i can have it forever.
Did my brush up training with Hong Kong base crews and London Base crews. Its a good cultural exchange even though we didnt exactly become best friends. Enjoyed the jap courses, learnt new words. Met up with Aoki-san! Took lotsa photos. Since we stayed so near town, i went to Shibuya twice. All for my buddy's birthday present(you know who you're!)Sadly, its the first and the last time. No more tokyo training centre anymore. No more nice hotel in town(yes the hotel is so much nicer than the one we usually stay in, Oops i am not complaining! hee)
Here's the photos we took throughout these 2 days. I jsut realised that i dont have much photos of me in my uniform.. humph.. More photos with Esther. Get it from her soon.
