(This is the 5th time i am blogging within these few days.. and if this is not going to save again, i think i am going to tear blogger down!)

As i rejected the invitation, i glanced down at the exquistite details on my dress and wondered what i was doing. Minutes ago i was still running around, puffing up my face with blusher and powder, lining the lashes carefully with coats of mascara, and the next, i decided not to go.

I lay on my bed and pondered over my actions. I choose to forgo my dinner with my buddies, a date with a guy friend, and probably a mahjong session. My stomach is growling, it has been pretty much empty for the whole day but i am not hungry. I cant be hungry anyway! i had Macdonalds for supper for the past whole week!

Up till now, i still cant think of why i did. Hm.

Anyway, last night was my first time at Rochester park and the experience was superb! Dinner was at 4 Rochester, at this restaurant called Graze. We were given a little table inside because the waitress claimed that all the al fresco seats were reserved. Hm..i didnt mind because al fresco is non smoking anyway. No yellow box LAH!

Being a Sunday, the place was not as packed as we thought .I like it the way it was..Cant imagine going Rochester on a Friday/Saturday.. i think that will be when all hell break loose! The little table was little but i am glad that we secured a quiet private section. Almost everyone were sitting o mutside, it was as if we reserved half the restaurant down. The restaurant is housed in this old fashioned colonial style bunglow, candlelit romancing the entire place. I heard that these colonial style bunglows can get really expensive..but that is if u can find any of them on sales. Maybe a little inconvenient and spooky but it will be so nice if i can own and stay in one of them. I was trying to imagine how to decorate my own place while dining. Ooops. hee.. oh yah i love the music they played! some bossa nova songs..

The names on the menu looked extraordinary and that made me worried a bit. Thankfully the food didnt turn out to be grass or any wierd stuffs. LOL. I like the grass salad(alright i think its called rocket leaves? whatever..) but not EVERYWHERE! For starters, we had fresh oysters and it tasted fresh! For main, i had fish while pang tried their signature hand rolled pork. We were told that the pork was rolled up and soaked in chinese wine for a night...i thought the pork will make us drunk. haa.. Anyway the pork dish tasted fantastic! It was tender and the outer wrap which i believe was roasted pork skin was so crunchy! My fish was not bad either.

For dessert, we indulged sinfully in their dessert platter. It was good! The dessert came in smaller portions and we got to try all their desserts at one go. My favourite is their chocolate and custard fudge thingy. i forgot the name though.

Anyway i have to mention about their chilling area! They have this big screen that screens movies outdoor. Oh i love outdoor movies! i saw this huge comfortable chair(i think its more suitable to call it a bed)Wanted to just chill there but we went next door instead.

The bar next door was as good/even better. I didnt get the name of the place but i love the decoration and the ambience there as well. They have pool deck chairs and huge bed/sofa/whatever u name it for people to relax and chill there. I like to thought and feeling of drinking, catching up with friends, pa-tohing..under the stars! Yup its outdoor as well! wahaha..Enjoyed myself lots last night. The meetup was great, we did lotsa catching up. We haven talk since the last time he went back to Shanghai for work.

i want to go rochester again!
