What a total coincidence!
I just met Edward on my last hkg flight..and then the most recent manchester flight, i met qiujie! weee! I havent seen him for the longest time..like since i quit vocal consort?! Heard of him gg overseas to study but i didnt know its in york!

thats like 12hours into the flight..both of us are super shag~
Hee.
Manchester was quite fun though everyone wanted to stay in...i had the company of Iris who turned out to be ryan's batchgirl! "everyone" seems to be in manchester!-quoted fr ryan. hee. I met emily, his friend as well. She came in via another flight and she was on the same flight as siti and josh! haha...it's almost like everyone was there in manchester!!
Iris and i gave up the idea of going scotland..when we found out that the train ticket cost me 150sing. I have a tight budget...still got one more long flight next week! So we stayed in manchester..and we visited the world famous Manchester United Old trafford stadium! I am not a soccer fan though. So i couldnt really feel all the excitment.

Took a tram there!

The stadium!

We got to go into the player's changing room! The headshots show where the players sit.

they even have jacuzzi in the player's room!

outside the stadium!

our guide.

Iris and me!

we followed the signs..

dont u think this look familiar? where the players are interviewed by the media after the match..

these chairs are so comfy!

home team!

where the mangers get interviewed by the media.

outside the man u shop.. i only managed to get one magnet before it closes!
and on the 2nd day.. instead of going york to look for qiujie.. we changed our mind and headed to lyme park instead! First we took a train to the outskirt of manchester.. to disley!

we walked and walked..to lyme park!
This old house which pride and prejudice came and film.. used to own by this wealthy family as early as the 14th century. It's really an old house.. like those that you only read in story books and see in movies.. whereby those english ladies, dressed up in their big balloon skirt with their husbands all dressed up in wigs and such. oO!
we couldnt take any pics inside but it was beautiful!

the roman-inspired old house.

after the house visit we went out to the gardens..it feels so relaxing! When will i ever get a chance to sit the tree and enjoy sun bathing in spore? never.
