Recently i did my first india flight and i exclaimed loudly to myself, "This is my first india flight in 4 months. How i wish i can another india flight soon!" That was because the indian stewardess introduced me this lip stick that can only be found in India and i love the color so much!
The following day when i was on standby, i got called up for bombay. I didnt know whether i should laugh or cry. Yea i wanted to get the lip stick.. but not so soon right?!
So i went and step into bombay soil for the first time of my life. Wasnt an easy flight but it was quite worth it for my first time there. The experience was very different. No new airport, alot of tuk tuks, some of the cars looked like they were from the 80s.. those that has been completely phrased out in Spore. The air was dusty and there was this wierd smell in the air, those like salty fish(hm).
I was enthralled by the place.
We took a tuk tuk out and we began our adventure. My first time on tuk tuk i was excited! They even have this meter thing and it starts from 10 rupies! Which is 10/25=$0.40!!! Snapped lotsa photos.. and finally the tuk tuk uncle brought us to JD nagar whereby i got to buy my indian lipstick. (yea!!) But it was disappointing because we found ourselves stranded in a stretch of market street instead of shopping street!
So we took another tuk tuk this time to the city area. The journey was long, for one on a tuk tuk. The tuk tuk driver was reckless and very aggressive. My heart was thumping, and half the time on the tuk tuk, i was praying for my safety. =X We saw mostly low rise buildings, shops houses, a stretch of slumps(i was shocked with the living conditions), and there was CBD-like areas as well!
We hopped off the tuk tuk and went to this market place where i bought this nice ear ring and gold bag! I LOVE THEM! Too bad i was too poor, if not i would have gotten more things! At night, we had a sumptuous buffet dinner with the crews in the hotel. Very gd! Very eye opening trip.. and totally unexpected especially when i wasnt expecting a bom flight for a standby.
Pics from the trip:

My hotel room(oO marble floor i like), the wind kept on blowing(i couldnt open my eyes nor keep my hair still), the slumps, the tuk tuk

The shopping, the things we saw along the road, the lady who came with the baby to as for money, the people who sat beside the road, the people who was struggling to survive by selling things, the "honks".
The traffic "You can drive without a brake but you can never drive without a horn"
Pics from supper at Alo's place the other night:
