I didnt exactly know what to expect when we landed in Male but i was really excited about going maldives!. Whole flight, i couldnt wait for the plane to land and check into our resort!

Went for a drink after we checked in and had to wake up early next morning to go and visit the beauty beach! OMG! The beach and the sea is just as nice as those in pictures! Its soooo beautiful!!! I am not a very beach and sun person. Especially when i tan & burn easily, the more i always stay out of the sun. But this time i couldnt resist the beach at all!

I am actually quite scared of the sea because i always imagine all sorts of scary stories about it eating people up. So when i had to go snorkeling with Jennifer, i was really scared. I didnt want to chicken out! But its something i had to curb. The sea didnt look as scary as i thought because its crystal clear with a beauty sheen of green and blue. It's so clear that i see fishes swimming beside me at the beach!

After getting myself all ready with sun block sun tan lotion, i took the plunge and headed out to see the sea for the first time! I fell in love!

The corals look weird to me initially. They look like they can open up anytime and eat you up. But the more i look at it, the more mysterious and beautiful i think it is. And all the fishes that swam beside us. Some of them were so curious that they swam right beside us and see see. The rest hid behind the corals the moment we snorkel past. As we snorkel to the deeper part of the sea, we caught sight of..........SHARKS! OMG! But it was baby sharks so its not harmful. But it's so cool! Seeing a shark upfront so near me is something i've never done in my whole life! We didnt go to the drop off point where all the BIG sharks are because i am very slow to spot sharks. Jennifer was worried for me.(lol). I am a newbie okie!

We drank too much salt water that we had to go back. Went back, tan more, took more photos and listened to the waves. This is the way of life.

Never been to alot of beaches.. but i guess this place is way more romantic and pretty than phuket, bali blabla. =X i wana go maldives (on my own)!!!
