All the news channel has been going on non stop about the Beijing Olympics frenzy.

About how bad the govt is, trying to cover up the bad side, about how much money they spent on it instead of spending it to help the poor in the country, about how bad the air quality is in Beijing, about how they claim they allow freedom in reporting but not..

I dont know how true these things are but personally i think the air quality thingy is exaggerated by the media. They claim that it was very bad in the past and now it has improved. I dont know about now, but the last time when i was there(early this year), they still had 3.3 million cars on the road, the air quality was alright. Breathable for me..so after removing 1 million cars from the road and shutting down the factories, i dont think its that bad now. Of course you cant expect pollution-less air, but i really dont think its as bad as it seems. Then, there are reports and pictures of the athletics wearing masks out of the airport. I really dont think its that bad.

Why dont i remember so many bad reporting on the countries that held the games years ago? Perhaps i was too young to remember or to care but i dont register such similar reports at all. I cant say that the reports are inaccurate. Its a good reflection of both the good and the bad. But i think the organizers should be given encouragement and a chance to prove how they are going to hold a successful game their way. Perhaps it isnt as bad as it is?
