ahhh.. it has been so long!

and it has been slightly shorter since i last went for waxing!

Since i dont have much time when i come back to singapore (heading to hong kong and shanghai immediately), i decided to pay a visit to Bliss since i am in New York and it's next to my hotel!

My third encounter with a different waxing salon.. this is superb! I am so satisfied that i have to blog about it!!

My first two, typically was with strip and honeypot in spore (i didnt go too many times and it was a while ago, but still they made impressions).

Well, Bliss concept is pretty much like strip (god knows who was first) but it has that very bubbly, lively, and cute concept. You just cant resist going back kinda feeling! And they are very hygenic. They dont double dip!! (yes, honeypot does.)

Its ladies room is big and nice, mainly painted with seablue and white (imagine serenity). There's this nice locker area, steambath and sauna area and a robe area(relaxing lounge) which all i didnt get to use. Since i was just there for a short waxing session, it was all about getting over and done with.

The lady that  did my waxing was very friendly and warm. She was very professional and quick! No irritating pushing of products and packages(yes irritating strip do it all the time! They should understand that if i want to buy or sign up, i will enquire. Just put ur big posters there and i'll ASK!). She was using their signature poetic wax. Since i havent done waxing for some time, i was prepared for my pain factor to shoot sky high.

You wont believe it..but i didnt even realised that she pull off the first one! I was still holding my breath and anticipating it and then.. "what? u done with the first?!" After that it was all a breeze. The usual most painful area was still painful of course.. but LESS! She was done in max ten minutes. And like i said earlier, she didnt stalled my precious time by taking her own sweet time to wax while trying to convince me to sign up any package (yes strip does this all the time!!! arghhhhH!!!). It was done and off i go!

She was so good and professional that i felt guilty that i didnt have more cash for her tips. I only had $6. If i had more i would have offered.  

The downside of Bliss was that their waxing service was expensive and so were their other treatments. But i secretly added this mental note that the next time i am in New York, i will make sure i'll experience their other treatments. 

Besides the waxing, i even splurge on the other bliss products that i've always been procastinating to buy. arghhh i know thats sinful!!

One good thing to know.. Bliss is coming SINGAPORE!!! Yea!! I cant wait!
